An Enchanting Taal Vista Evening and our Staycation, Day2

In case you missed it, please check out yesterday’s post about our first day at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay. I ask you to do this because I need for you to see the gorgeous (but blurry, sorry) photo of the hotel garden at night. Notice the path of lights and the tent-like structure on the right side of the photo? That’s where we had dinner during our Tagaytay staycation.

That was the special surprise that our hosts, Celine and Treena, Chef Edwin, and the rest of their team at Taal Vista Hotel put together for us. It was such a magical setup, perfect for a proposal, an anniversary celebration, or any ordinary night when you want your special someone to feel extra special. Yup, you can have the hotel arrange a beautiful dinner under the stars for you. So romantic! It was a great anniversary dinner for MrC and I, although we had to share it with the rest of our group haha!

I was supposed to publish this last Sunday, but then I got sick and really wasn’t able to function properly until, well, now. Blog Tour: Book Review – Hello

I think it might be because I hit 30 this year, but I’ve been really excited lately about trying out new things. So far though, most of what I’ve ventured into are all related to my hobbies and interests. I’ve yet to go for more adventurous stuff. Maybe that will come in my 40’s haha.

One nice thing I discovered recently that I think I will enjoy doing over and over again is this thing called a blog book tour. It’s basically a virtual book tour, blog carnival style, where authors get additional exposure through bloggers. I chanced upon one that was featuring local writers, and of course I had to join. It was absolutely the perfect opportunity for me to get started on this new thing which allows me to make the most out of my love for reading. So here I am now doing my first ever review for my first ever blog tour. Yay!

I haven’t been blogging much. I haven’t been posting baon plans either, like I promised I would. Life has been full of a lot of things lately, and I’ve been allowing things to sort of just “happen” first. I’m actually surprised that it’s September already! It’s like, hello, where did the rest of the year go? At the same time, I’m excited for Christmas (yes, already, I am Filipino after all), for my in-laws to come home, for my sister-in-law’s wedding in November, and for our first-ever visit to Bohol. I’m also excited to be celebrating our second wedding anniversary in Taal Vista in a few days. I still feel so lucky that I actually won Topaz Mommy’s contest!!!

Ever since I switched to this new computer, I’ve not been feeling in the mood to write. I think I still can’t get over the fact that I have folders and folders of edited photos sitting in my old hard drive, waiting to be recovered and written about. It also doesn’t help that I don’t have Photoshop on this computer yet (God knows where my installer is!), and I just can’t bring myself to post unedited pictures.
