After a 3-week unplanned blog hiatus, I’m officially back. Wheeee!!!

I’m starting things off by sharing how excited I am to be joining this year’s Blogapalooza happening on Saturday, November 16, 11am-9pm at Function Room 1, SMX Aura, BGC. Just so you know, Blogapalooza is a big Business to Blogger (B2B) networking event where businesses can interact with bloggers who, in turn, can help promote their companies, brands, products and services.

After reading, re-reading and re-re-reading all of the wonderful entries for my Taal Vista Hotel giveaway, I was stuck with a 10-way tie for the person who I felt best deserved the getaway. I re-re-re-read each entry of the 10 ladies I had picked, and still couldn’t decide who to choose, so I called on my assistant for some help.

Blog Tour: Book Review – Hello

I think it might be because I hit 30 this year, but I’ve been really excited lately about trying out new things. So far though, most of what I’ve ventured into are all related to my hobbies and interests. I’ve yet to go for more adventurous stuff. Maybe that will come in my 40’s haha.

One nice thing I discovered recently that I think I will enjoy doing over and over again is this thing called a blog book tour. It’s basically a virtual book tour, blog carnival style, where authors get additional exposure through bloggers. I chanced upon one that was featuring local writers, and of course I had to join. It was absolutely the perfect opportunity for me to get started on this new thing which allows me to make the most out of my love for reading. So here I am now doing my first ever review for my first ever blog tour. Yay!
