Spring Wedding – Aquamarine

It is officially spring (though I’ll be the first to say it may not feel that way outside today)! Regardless, warmer months are in the near distant future and we’re looking to life our spirits here at Bliss with a pop of color! We love when brides select an accent color to help enhance the color palate of their decor. Our current favorite accent color — aquamarine. There are endless opportunities for customizing this ‘something blue.’ Let’s go!

Aquamarine Wedding Inspiration

Blue Flowers (Upper Left) – The best part about these aquamarine-hued flowers. They’ll last! These are aquamarine wooden flowers, made from soft and flexible tapioca wood. These flowers can easily transport from ceremony decor to reception place settings. We love these as displayed in a planter as a table focal point, but the options for these versatile wedding blooms are truly never ending.

Monogram Cake Topper (Upper Middle) -You all remember our ombre wedding inspiration post right? Imagine that round-up new-and-improved with this vibrant aquamarine monogram wedding cake topper. I particularly love this not only for the subtle glitter ombre (sometimes it can be over done!), but also for the delicate heart-monogram design.

Mod Save-the-Dates (Upper Right) – I do love a good clean lines, minimalistic wedding theme. Something about less really means more impact! This is precisely why I’m so drawn to this mod save the date in lime and aquamarine. So city chic! Plus, the bracket design allows for easy continuity should you take this inspiration into your ceremony and reception designs!

Aqua Mason Jars (Lower Right) – There is a reason mason jars are a wedding staple for city chic and rustic brides — it’s because they’re so versatile. I love this modern take on this classic staple with a stellar pop of color! Not only does this set of three painted aqua mason jars really anchor a wedding color palate, it could serve as wedding color guidance (see: neutral, main color, and accent color!). Remember that these jars could easily be used for the wedding and then reincorporated into one’s home afterward.

Aqua Chevron Necktie (Lower Left) -This pick for a men’s necktie is on point in it’s vibrant color and classic textile print. Can you simply get more classic than a chevron? Add life to your groomsmen’s look with this aqua chevron Men’s Necktie. Bonus idea: There’s a fantastic new trend about adding color and necktie details to your servers during the wedding reception. How fabulous (if not for your groomsmen) if your staff were able to wear this fun pop of color on the big day? Yes, please.

Thoughts on the aquamarine? Something spectacularly aqua I forgot? Let me know and have a happy spring!

Darling,

Sam H.
