George and Amal tied the knot in Venice. Brad and Angelina chose a French chateau. For Kim and Kanye the setting was a Florentine villa. If you are newly engaged and not sure where to have your dream destination wedding, read on for some of our top picks for the best romantic places to tie the knot.
Adventure lovers, Costa Rica – There are picturesque locations and so much to do with your guests! You can opt for an all inclusive beach resort, a beachside or a luxurious treehouse! Costa Rica is accessible from many major airports and offers a unique experience.
Celebrity Status, The Out Islands (of the Bahamas)- This destination is all about crystal clear blue waters and secluded beaches. The Out Islands are a collection of islands that make up the Bahamian archipelago. This spot offers many ceremony locations from beach to botanical gardens. There is also a wide variety of accommodations for family friends and guests from lavish all-included luxury to cottages and villas. Now with more non-stop service on Delta airlines, it is easier to get to than before.
Castles and Guinness, Ireland – This destination is easy to get to and easy to get around! If you are dreaming of a castle wedding, then this is your destination. It helps if you love beer and potatoes as well. The people in this country are so friendly and even though it may rain quite often, it is a romantic place to say “I do”.
Party Hardy, Jamaica – If you love the villa feel and really want to feel like a celebrity, then head to Jamaica. This island knows how to party and throw a great one! Many of the villas here come with a full staff of butlers and chefs, all at a high level of service. Some staff even get out the steel drum bands and plan to dance the night away.
Mexican Styled Fiesta, Cabo San Lucas – After the hurricane in 2014, many of the resorts have been re-built and they are amazing! Many hotels have private beaches where you can make it official, and then head to a pool deck to party overlooking the Pacific coast.
Keeping it Stateside – If you still want an amazing location but want to keep it domestic, consider Napa Valley for the West Coasters. It has an amazing setting for a romantic soirée in the heart of wine country. If you are an East Coaster consider Charleston where the Southern hospitality meets foodie scene is worth traveling for.
Yacht Life – If you feel connected to the sea, or just love being on the water, renting a yacht might be a great choice for you. Think about picking what body of water you want to exchange your nuptials on and then party the night away. Seadream has luxury yacht service to hop aboard with your closes friends and family.
There are so many places to get married, and it can be hard to choose which one is best for you and your fiancé! That is why hiring a professional (like a wedding planner and travel agent) can help you make the process easy and stress-free. Start dreaming and leave the destination wedding planning to us!
