LOVE AT FIRST FLIGHT
The Story:
Camille and Tim met at Raleigh-Durham airport. Both had missed flights and decided to grab something to eat. Over dinner, they chatted and when it was time to leave – low and behold – they were on the same flight! They switched seats with other passengers so that they could continue their conversation and as that old saying goes ~ love was in the air!
As a busy cardiologist at Duke University Hospital, Camille was very busy finishing up her Fellowship and quickly realized that she needed a planner to help her plan and execute the details of her wedding. After interviewing several planners, she hired Sam and the fun began. One thing Sam loved about working with Camille – as long as it was pink and tasteful, she loved it. Fuchsia and platinum were the chosen colors for this formal ceremony and reception. “Blessings and Love” was the theme of this wedding and this, along with some whimsical travel touches to pay homage to how the couple met, was kept in mind for every design aspect of this wedding.
Instead of “Directions”, “Navigation” was the header for directions included with the invitations. The escort poster welcomed guests to the city of Blessings in the state of Love. This wedding was the perfect example of how to tastefully combine personal touches and details to a wedding.
